📦 Return & Exchange Policy

At Fabric Loot, we take pride in offering premium-quality fabrics customized to your needs. Since all fabrics are cut to order, purchases are considered final. However, we’re committed to customer satisfaction and offer refunds or exchanges in specific, valid situations as outlined below.

🚫 General Return Policy

  • All orders are non-returnable due to the custom nature of fabric cutting.
  • We do not accept returns for:
    • Change of mind
    • Incorrect measurements provided by the customer
    • Slight color variations due to screen or lighting differences
    • Personal preferences after delivery

✅ Exchange & Refund Policy – For India

We offer refunds or exchanges only under the following conditions:

  • Incorrect fabric or color received
  • Fabric has a visible manufacturing defect
  • Delivered meterage is less than ordered
  • Fabric was damaged in transit

📸 Mandatory Unboxing Video:
A clear unboxing/unpacking video, recorded at the time of opening the package, must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

🚚 For approved cases:

  • We will arrange reverse pickup
  • We will cover return shipping charges

📤 If your video file is too large to send directly, please upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us.

💳 Refund Method:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible
  • In cases where the original method is unavailable (e.g., failed transaction, expired card), a store credit will be provided instead

🔁 Partial Refunds:
If only part of your order is affected, a refund will be issued proportionally for the affected portion only.

🕒 When Will I Get My Refund?
Refunds are initiated within 7–10 business days from the date:

  • The returned product is delivered back to us, and
  • The issue is verified and approved

🌍 Refund Policy – For International Orders

We offer refunds only (no exchanges) in the following scenarios:

  • Wrong item sent
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Fabric meterage is less than ordered
  • Product damaged during transit

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Color Variations: Slight color differences due to device screens or lighting do not qualify as defects.
  • Artisan/Handloom Variations: Minor weaving inconsistencies are common in handwoven fabrics and are not considered faults.
  • Multiple Cuts: If fabric is shipped in more than one cut, this will be communicated before dispatch.

🚫 Abuse & Fraud Protection

We reserve the right to reject claims and block future returns or refunds in cases of:

  • Misuse of our return policy
  • Repeat or abusive refund requests
  • Fraudulent claims

💳 Store Credit Validity

If a store credit is issued in place of a refund:

  • It will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue
  • Store credit can be used sitewide

  • Your Order ID
  • A description of the issue
  • The unboxing video (Google Drive link if file is large)

📢 All videos will be used solely for claim verification in line with our Privacy Policy.

⚖️ Legal & Jurisdiction

  • All refunds are processed after adjusting for any discounts applied to the original order.
  • In the event of delays due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions), we will handle claims in good faith.
  • This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
